Sony HDR-AS200V vs GoPro Hero4 Black HD
Sony’s HDR-AS200V (AS200V for short) is up against the GoPro Hero4 Black in 4K running the latest 2.0 firmware. The AS200V is Sony’s successor to last year’s popular AS100V. GoPro Hero4 Black is the successor to last year’s Hero3+ Black. the Hero4 does have a advantage out of the gate with it sporting a 4K capable sensor over Sony’s 1080p max resolution. However both share the same bit rate of 60mbs. Spec sheets are nice but you are here for real field results. We put these two cameras through some of the hardest conditions to film in at Big Bear Mountain and to see if which camera can handle it.
