Garmin’s VIRB Ultra 30 $499 and Launching Sept 7th 2016
I’m extremely excited to be able to make this post finally. Garmin unveiled the VIRB Ultra 30 action camera launching September 7th for $499.99. Let’s say I’ve known about this camera for some time and I have to say… it’s amazing. It offers just about everything you’ve wanted in an Action Camera. 4K footage, tons of manual control, voice control, 16:9 and 4:3, perfect audio in/out of case, stabilization, and G-Metrixs which offers the ability to record tons of stats with the camera or external devices. It’s amazing, and we’ll have TONS on it soon.
You can visit the Ultra Virb 30 page here for more features/details and the video below offers a good idea what the VIRB UItra 30 has to offer. You can also stay tuned for a review in the coming week as well tons of spectacular footage shot on this camera over the summer.
Hi Mark, any news on the full Ultra 30 review. I can’t wait to see the details, in particular in terms of image quality compared to the Hero 4 black. Did the Ultra 20 improve, compared to the XE in that respect?
Cheers
Those who find the typos may keep ’em 😉
It’s all pretty fantastic. Just waiting for our retail unit to come in to check out some improvements and make sure nothings changed. Should be up early next weekend but we’ll start posting some footage this weekend.
Great news! Thanks! I’m really eager to see video quality improvements at 1440p (anti-aliasing), compared to the XE (or HERO4 for that matter)…
Hi Mark, any news on the planned VIRB in-depth review?
Thanks
