Sony’s AS100V vs the GoPro Hero3+ Black. This all out battle has us at Griffith observatory from Day to Night testing out things like Steady shot, XAVC-S, Protunes, Protunes 2.0, focal distance, sharpness, and more. This video runs a little long but it’s fully voiced over guiding you with useful information through out the process.

Recording Details:

So for the Sony that’s the XAVC-S or Pro Mode, writing at 50MBS. For the GoPro Hero3+ Black, I am using the same card in it’s protunes mode which writes at 34MBS.

Both cameras are using a Sandisk 64gb Micro SDXC card that can write at 50MBS and read at 80MBS.

MPK-AS3 Flat Lens. For some reason it’s near impossible to stumble on this on the Sony Store without the correct product name. Here is a direct link.
